WORK EXPERIENCE:

Holme Roberts & Owen LLP; Denver, CO (10/1997 to Present)
Help Desk Technician
Support 300+ users over a wide area network. Perform the repair, maintenance and analytical troubleshooting of Pentium-based computers, monitors, document scanners, and Hewlett Packard LaserJet printers. Responsible for software installation (Windows 95 and other applications) and configuration. Provide support for various software applications. Responsible for documenting Help Desk procedures in Lotus Notes database. Was lead technician in the successful migration of firm’s computers from Windows 3.11 to Windows 95. Additional administrative duties include:

Lotus Notes 4.6 Administration
Install and upgrade Notes client workstations. Troubleshoot Notes mail and replication problems.

Netware 4.11 Administration
Setup Novell Netware 4.11 user and group accounts- includes assigning data access privileges using NDS and establishing GroupWise 5.5 email accounts. Responsible for setting up print services. Setup and maintain users on Citrix Dial-Up system.

United States Army; Baumholder, Germany and Ft. Richie, MD (5/1994 to 5/1997)
Military Policeman
Performed law enforcement duties for largest military post outside of the continental United States.  Served in a Team Leadership role- responsible for conducting soldier training and career guidance.  

Operation Joint Endeavor
While stationed overseas, deployed to the Former Yugoslavia in the Winter of 1996 for Peace Enforcement duties with NATO forces in Bosnia.  Overcame harsh environmental conditions and logistical shortages to be part of the advance force to cross the Sava River and secure area of operations for incoming U.S. forces.  Awarded the Army Achievement Medal and the NATO Medal for service in Bosnia.

Operation Desert Storm
While serving in the Colorado National Guard (10/1987 to 12/1993), deployed to Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War.  Performed law enforcement duties during deployment.
